The Hartford Firefighters Association, I.A.F.F. Local 760, represents the uniformed members of the City of Hartford Fire Department in Hartford, CT. Organized in 1943, the Hartford Firefighters' Association is dedicated to the protection of it's members safety, rights and benefits. The Hartford Firefighters' Association is comprised of the 320 professional firefighters that work for the City of Hartford Fire Department. The Hartford Firefighters Association is an affiliate of the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF Local 760), and member of the Uniformed Professional Firefighters Association of Connecticut.

The Joint Council of Connecticut Fire Service Organizations has scheduled their annual Fire Service Day at the Capitol for Wednesday, March 12, 2008 from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. All fire service personnel are welcome.
The various statewide fire service organizations will be staffing display booths in the Concourse Area of the Legislative Office Building in Hartford. Please make an effort to contact your local legislators and ask them to visit the display booths. Better yet, schedule a meeting that day with your legislators and tour the display’s with them.
